Back in 2024, a group of dyers (myself included) have got together to bring you yarn based on the new Taylor Swift album (TTPD)! Each of us picked a track from the album and have dyed yarn based on what sort of vibes the track name has given us. I selected "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?" To me, this gives vibes of being a sweet, innocent little girlie with a dark side. Like, who could be afraid of a sweet old lady that loves everyone and bakes cupcakes for fun? Oh? She also has some mortal enemies? Who knew? 😇😈 For Taylor, the sweet part screams Lover era to me - all the fun, colorful pastel goodness! As for the secret dark side? One could argue for the Reputation era, but Midnights felt more fitting to me. Taylor seems to often hide her pain and anger behind a cute persona, so this pairing felt perfect for "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?"

Standard Sock Set: 1 full skein (75% superwash merino, 25% recycled nylon; 437 yds, 100 g; 4 ply) + 1 tonal mini (75% superwash merino, 25% recycled nylon; 87 yds, 20 g)

I do my best to match each photo to the true color of the yarn. However, due to variations in display settings on each computer/device, the yarn you receive may vary slightly from what you see on the screen. Additionally, hand dyed yarn can vary from skein to skein and dye lot to dye lot; I highly suggest ordering enough yarn to complete your project! I highly recommend hand washing your completed project in cold water. There is a chance that some dye may bleed slightly during the first washes, so I also suggest washing items separately. Highly saturated colors and speckled skeins are more prone to this.
