Description
My original Textures of Comfort was knit in a this new colorway, Heartsong!
Heartsong is a deep, moody purple. It’s so dark that it’s quite difficult to photograph correctly. For my purple fans out there, it’s a blue-purple.
I named this color Heartsong because it was the best way I knew to describe what this color meant to me. Frankly, it was as if I managed to put what my soul felt into yarn. I love purple, but a bright, happy purple was not what felt appropriate for my first version of Textures of Comfort. The depths of the purple accurately represented my grief, while my love of purple and the fluffy mohair shows my joys.

I do my best to match each photo to the true color of the yarn. However, due to variations in display settings on each computer/device, the yarn you receive may vary slightly from what you see on the screen. Additionally, hand dyed yarn can vary from skein to skein and dye lot to dye lot; I highly suggest ordering enough yarn to complete your project!
I highly recommend hand washing your completed project in cold water. There is a chance that some dye may bleed slightly during the first washes, so I also suggest washing items separately. Highly saturated colors and speckled skeins are more prone to this.
Please note, this listing is for “ready to ship” yarn, if you’d like a larger quantity or this colorway is sold out, please check the Dyed to Order listings for “made to order” yarn availability. Check the Store Policies & FAQ for more information about how this effects processing time & shipping.
